Minister Flaherty and MP O’Neill-Gordon announce job creating investment in New Brunswick

MiRAMICHI (NB) – The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance and Tilly O’Neill-Gordon, Member of Parliament for Miramichi announced that the Government of Canada is prepared to invest in the development of a new multifunctional air services facility in the community of Miramichi. The Minister was accompanied by members of the local airport commission and community leaders.

The Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Innovative Communities Fund (ICF) intends to provide a $1.75 million contribution to the project which promises to create jobs and strengthen the local economy.
